‘Dead to the Day’, la nueva compilación de Red Hot contra el sida, celebrará a The Grateful Dead

El próximo 20 de mayo, la famosa organización en lucha contra el sida Red Hot editará nuevo disco solidario a través de 4AD. Se trata de ‘Day of the Dead’, una vasta compilación de versiones de The Grateful Dead creada y comisionada por Aaron y Bryce de The National, que ya se encargaron del disco anterior, el celebrado ‘Dark Was the Night’, en la que han participado numerosos artistas de todo tipo como Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Perfume Genius, The Flaming Lips, Angel Olsen, The War on Drugs, Sharon von Etten, Courtney Barnett o Bill Callahan.

Si creías que Red Hot se conformaba con un disco normal y ya está, estabas equivocado y equivocada. ‘Day of the Dead’ será triple, traerá 59 canciones -casi 6 horas de música- y eso solo en la edición digital. La física en CD será quíntuple y la edición en vinilo será editada en una caja en edición limitada.
