review del capítulo del domingo. sin spoilers
It’s written by the entire writing staff of Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and Steve Thompson and snazzily directed by Colm McCarthy
It’s the most un-Sherlock Sherlock episode there’s ever been with (as already revealed by Steven Moffat) no cases for a good 40 minutes
Sherlock’s characterisation is very different and a total delight
The Sherlock/Mary/John dynamic is completely adorable but the episodes beating heart is the friendship between Sherlock and John and how much they mean to each other.
All the action is weaved around Sherlock’s wedding speech
It is the funniest episode to date with the stag do in particular being laugh out loud hysterical from beginning to end. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman have serious comedy chops.
Una Stubbs, Louise Brealey, Mark Gatiss and Rupert Graves are all completely brilliant in it and have meaty supporting roles with Louise getting my favourite lines of the episode
Theres a completely unexpected moment with Sherlock that is destined to launch a million gifs
Fans get something they’ve been waiting years for
The entire episode is a bright, light, candy floss concotion with a bittersweet ending that ends on just the teeniest foreboding note as we find out what Sherlock’s vow is.
