Ya, pero mira, por ejemplo la respuesta a este comentario resume lo que quiero decir:
- Even if it was rape, we have a show/book series where: People of both gender getting killed in horrible ways, pregnant women getting medieval abortions. Dogs getting killed, girl being hunted like a dog, People getting fried by Dragon fire, people being cooked alive. Men getting castrated. Both gender being hanged. Women being used for horrible experiments. I think this whole rape gate is just way over blown.

It is not. And everyone using the argument of "well other bad stuff happens on the show" are severely missing the point. We spoke about this in our chat last week - it's about perpetuating rape culture, end of story. People don't say the folks murdered on the show were asking for it or should have fought harder, but that is what happens with rapes both in fiction and in the real world. Excuses are made for why the victim could have done something to stop it or deserved it in some way. Showing a rape on the show, like Cersei and Jaime, perpetuates rape culture. THAT is why everyone is so angry (in addition to it not having played out like that in the books), not because "another bad thing happened."
