"Dear Diary. A few years back I wrote this song, Hotel Home, after coming home from a very empty and not too successful show in a West German city. On top of not feeling too great about myself as an artist, I also got the cramps on the train back and I had no painkillers to help me. Somehow I managed to go to a friends house for dinner, straight from the station, so while eating some spaghetti, and after telling them about my discouraging last night my most inspiring muse-mentor-friend told me "Molly, you just keep doing what you do. The world will find you". And now on the other side of the world, in another life, years later, I read that Chris Lowe of Pet Shop Boys has this very track on his phone. And it's all real. True story. Thank you, life."
