^ La opinión al respecto de Bianca también es muy buena:
Thereâs been a lot of controversy about words within the drag and transgender communities. Do you think the t-word is ever acceptable to use?
Well, I have a sense of humor. And I have friends who are transsexuals. and they have a different path in life. Because theyâre friends with me, they obviously have a sense of humor. And they get it. I get it. Did I find the whole âShe-mailâ thing offensive for me? Not so much. A friend of mine [and I] were discussing it recently, and we looked at it as a play on the word âemailâ as opposed to being hateful to one community. But I think my issue with it, and itâs something that I said before, is one of the people who were complaining about it, Carmen Carrera, I thought whatâs interesting is, sheâs complaining about this word, which has been on the show for six seasons. And the only reason we know who Carmen Carrera is, is because of the show. So I got to sit back for a minute and think about what youâre discussing. Like, itâs not that serious. Itâs a drag show on Logo. We dress up. We pretend weâre puppets. ⦠Lighten the fuck up. If you want to watch something serious, you watch Meet the Press or some documentary on Netflix. Itâs not that serious. You gotta laugh about it. Itâs not that big of a deal to me. And I donât think the show is trying to be hateful to any community whatsoever.
