STEREOGUM: Speaking of icons … I know you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race and I was wondering if anyone’s reached out to you about hosting yet?
MUSGRAVES: They have. [Laughs] Well, I was actually supposed to do it a couple years ago and there was just no way that I could make it work, but I’ve been dying to do that ever since. I mean, I love drag so much. Like I’m pretty sure that there’s a little drag queen somewhere inside of me or that in a past life I was a gay man, or maybe I am a gay man, I don’t know. [Laughs] But yeah, I mean, it would be so much fun.
