Full tracklist – Timeless:
🎶 I Am You (4:44) - an unreleased rock song recorded as a home recording in the second half of 1978 at Prince’s France Avenue Home Studio, Edina, Minnesota.
🎶 Tick Tick Bang (3:13) - Basic tracking took place in Summer 1981 at Prince’s Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota (during the same session as Controversy and Poppa Grooves). The track was re-recorded from scratch with mostly new lyrics in 1989 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. This updated version was included as the ninth track on a late 1989 configuration of Graffiti Bridge.
🎶 Heaven (4:29) - an unreleased song recorded on 26 May 1985 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. Although no further work seems to have been done on it following the initial session, the song was later considered for the planned The Dawn movie (along with God Is Everywhere, Others Here With Us, All My Dreams, When The Dawn Of The Morning Comes, Crucial and The Cocoa Boys), but the proejct was ultimately abandoned
🎶 I Wonder (4:11) - an unreleased song recorded in August 1989 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. It is unknown if this song was intended for any particular project at the time of recording.
🎶 With This Tear (3:53) - The track was written by Prince, but was given to Céline Dion and re-recorded by her own musicians for release on her 17th studio album. Prince’s version was released digitally as a standalone track on 20 April 2026, one day before the tenth anniversary of his death.
🎶 Stone (3:08) - (sometimes known as Nothing Left 2 Give or Heart Of Stone) is an unreleased song recorded in Spring 1995. The track was originally written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer and Jules Van Veen (as Nothing Left To Give), and was sent to Prince in Spring 1995, following a loose agreement for Prince and Sandra St. Victor to work together.
🎶 Calabama (3:31) - an unreleased song which was supposedly the title track of an unreleased album Prince was working on before Musicology. The upbeat song features a hook consisting of the lyrics of ‘all the pretty ladies clap your hands’. Eventually Calabama segues in a rap that is the base for Prince And The Band.
🎶 The Guilty Ones (4:15) - an unreleased track recorded on 16 October 2007 at Paisley Park Studios. A portion of the song’s lyrics were included in the 21 Nights book in 2008, but it was not confirmed that they came from a song until the title was discovered on a vault tape following Prince’s death.
🎶 Bestest Friend (4:38) - unknown outtake
🎶 How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore? (Live) (5:54) - remains to be seen which performance this comes from. Speculation is out there that it is from one of the Piano & Microphone performances.
