3. Rosalía: “Pienso en Tu Mirá”

Following up their last stunning video collaboration for “Malamente,” Barcelonians Rosalía and CANADA continue to plant surreal breadcrumbs in “Pienso en Tu Mirá.” Much of the same imagery is explored here (semi trucks, flying sparks, ominous bull taxidermy), but now Rosalía seems to be a member of a goth vampire cult. The clip teeters between images suggesting comfort (women adorning Rosalía in gold jewelry, a talking porcelain flamenco figurine) and those dictating danger (she’s held captive by men with knives and guns, the same figurine is smashed into a bloody pulp). Throughout the chaos, though, Rosalía remains calm—in total control. The video ends with the singer standing atop a flipped truck, texting like it ain’t no thing.
