Sooo.. just had a pretty dramatic 24 hours … A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to fulfill my dream to hold a koala, however she scratched me and this weekend I had to go to the E.R. with pain and big rashes. They put me on antibiotics, but last night after our concert, things got worse. In about 30 minutes, I went from feeling well and healthy, to getting 39.5 C in fever. I started shaking and had trouble catching my breath. I called the hospital, and they told me to get there as quickly as possible, in case the skin infection that I got a few days ago had spread into something worse. I was so scared, but the nurses and doctors there took really good care of me. After 24 hours with a lot of sleeping and four bags of intravenous penicillin, I am now discharged and have arrived Melbourne, ready for our two last shows in Melbourne and Daylsford (Chill Out Festival)
