estoy ansioso de oírlo!!

me mola, me recuerda al sonido de bleed like me disco.

Ains, mola MIL.

- "I believe that as a creative person, or a creative group, you really shouldn't spend much time looking back and trying to chase a zeitgeist. I think that's a really dangerous mindset to have."

Sometimes - it's a short song. It is strange. It's like a synthesizer beat that is repeated all over the song. Only few strings and percussion added. The song is pretty basic, repetitive. Sounds like a nine inch nails ballad ... But the beauty of the song lives in Shirley's voice and lyrics.... It's like she's whispering a very sad and depressing poem to your ear. I feel like either you're gonna love or hate this song. I loved it.

Empty - which is like going out of the water and taking a beep breath of fresh air after the suffocation of "sometimes". And don't get me wrong, this is good.

Blackout - which is saturated, noisy rock song. Really great guitar riffs. It's the song that remind me the most of the debut album. You can tell the dark influences like Bauhaus and the cure (as the band intended, they said that).

If I lost you - It is a super atmospheric experimental electronic ballad. It reminded me of Bjork, the ballads from homogenic. And the lyrics are beautiful BEAUTIFUL. Again, Shirley's whispering the lyrics in a lovely and at the same time sad way. My favorite so far.

Night drive loneliness - I thought it was about a prostitute that at night wears her blue velvet dress, go out to the street and feel more lonely than ever. Then I noticed it's about a girl suffering for her failed relationship. The lyrics are good but, musically, I didn't connect with the song immediately.

Even though our love is doomed - sounds experimental, sounds atmospheric, sounds rock, sounds different. I loved the chorus and the lyrics: "such strange little birds devoured by our obsessions....."
It is about holding on to a relationship. Trying your best to make it work. Tho is a sickening relationship: "We kill the things we love the most...." And also says something like: "you're the only one worth fighting for, you're the only one worth dying for ..."
But musically I did not connect with it immediately. I think it's the kind of weird song that you have to listen over and over to get it.

"Magnetized", "we never tell" and "teaching little fingers" are typical Garbage songs. Many guitars with pop choruses and nice arrangements. Like NYKOP but more rock oriented and less happy.

"So we can feel alive" is like two songs in one. Literally, the first part and the second are musically very different. There's almost a couple seconds of silence between both. The second part is epic. It is risky. I love it. It is experimental. Aggressive. (Tho I'm not sure if on this description I'm talking about "teaching little fingers" or "so we can feel").

I don't remember too much about "amends".... I just remember that is not as epic as most of closing themes for a garbage album.... It's rocky, it's midtempo with nice guitars and nice choruses.... but I don't remember too much about it.

In general, I think some of us will find ourselves listening to the album and trying really hard to understand the concept. It's not immediate, it's tricky. It's very electronic but not version 2.0 electronic. It's very rock but not debut rock. Lyrics are direct and not very elaborated. Shirley's voice is sounding better than ever. This is by far the most rock oriented album. It's heavier than the debut or bleed like me. And more experimental than BG. I'm pretty sure most of us will be happy with the result. I'm also pretty sure that a few of us will not be that happy.....

Leyendo esas descripciones, la que más ganas me dan de escuchar es If I lost you
