Cuando sólo falta un episodio para llegar a su final, que como el emitido anoche será más largo de lo habitual, y después de tres años de derrota frente a ‘Mad Men’ y uno frente a ‘Homeland’, ‘Breaking Bad‘ ha podido hacerse con el premio Emmy a mejor serie dramática del año. No ha habido tanta suerte para sus guionistas y directores pero sí para Anna Gunn (Skyler), que se ha hecho con el galardón a mejor actriz secundaria de drama. Jeff Daniels ganaba el reconocimiento a mejor actor por ‘The Newsroom’, mientras que Claire Danes lo hacía por mejor actriz por ‘Homeland‘.

La mejor comedia era ‘Modern Family’ por cuarto año consecutivo. El mejor actor de comedia era Jim Parsons por ‘The Big Bang Theory’ y la mejor actriz Julia Louis-Dreyfus por ‘Veep’. Destaca, en cuanto a miniseries, el éxito de ‘Behind the Candelabra’ como mejor miniserie y mejor dirección, con Emmy también para Michael Douglas por su papel (también estaba nominado Matt Damon por la misma miniserie). Eso sí, James Cromwell se hacía con un premio por su papel de doctor en ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’.
