Meghan Trainor publicaba hace un par de semanas un nuevo EP de 6 canciones de cara a San Valentín, un ‘The Love Train‘ con el que la autora de ‘All About that Bass’ ha querido celebrar su matrimonio con el actor Daryl Sabara, mientras de su tercer disco sigue sin haber noticias.
Vistos los resultados comerciales obtenidos por los últimos singles de Trainor, su equipo de prensa se ha tenido que estar mordiendo las uñas de cara a la publicación de ‘The Love Train’, por lo que ha tenido una idea para promocionarlo, que ha sido publicar una nota de prensa bastante imposible de creer, pero que es oficial. El texto empieza dirigiéndose a la típica fan femenina de Trainor para convencerle de que necesita los “temones frescos” de este EP “ya esté planeando hacer añicos los huevos de su novio o enrollarse con él acompañados de una tarrina de helado”. Y hay más.
El texto continúa recordando que Meghan acaba de casarse “con el pelirrojo de ‘Spy Kids’” y continúa: “Sabemos que quieres escuchar canciones sobre todo el sexo post-matrimonial que Meghan y Daryl “Sa-BAE-ra” están teniendo” (NdP: “BAE” es una abreviación de “baby” en inglés), por eso te encantará el potente single ‘All the Ways’. A Billboard, ‘All the Ways’ le tiene húmedo, llamándolo un “single bailable y divertido para enamorarte”. ¿Y acaso Billboard diría alguna mentira, tía?” El punto fuerte de la nota recuerda que Meghan y Daryl se han casado con ‘Marry Me’ de fondo: “sé que es todo un poco para vomitar, pero ¿estoy cortando cebollas ahora mismo o eso son lágrimas cayendo por mi cara? Yo no estoy llorando, tú estás llorando”.
Tras esta nota que nunca está claro si va en serio o se está cachondeando por completo de la propia Meghan Trainor se encuentra la periodista Caroline Goldfarb, cuya página web oficial tiene un puntero con forma de pene. Ella se ha tomado a risa las críticas a su nota porque se ha hecho viral, y de hecho a muchas otras personas les ha encantado. Con razón, pues seguramente hará mucho más por que la gente se entere de que ‘The Love Train’ existe que el vídeo-boda de ‘Marry Me’.
