Hace unas horas la publicación Billboard hacía entrega de sus premios latinos de este año, 2019. Unos premios que partían con la impresionante cifra de 23 nominaciones –hay que tener en cuenta que cada lista –Hot Latin, Top Latin, etc.– tiene sus propias distinciones– para el puertorriqueño Ozuna, logrando así batir el récord de premios de la noche con 11 galardones en total, incluyendo el de Artista del Año, Álbum del Año por ‘Odisea’ y Canción del Año por ‘Te boté’. Otros premiados destacados fueron J Balvin y Nicky Jam por ‘X’, Anuel Aa como Nuevo Artista del Año, Bad Bunny como Artista del Año en Redes Sociales, Cardi B como Artista Crossover del Año, Romeo Santos como Artista Tropical del Año o Natti Natasha como Artista Femenina de Canciones Hot Latin. Rosalía, única española nominada este año, optaba a dos premios: Artista de Álbum Femenina del Año y Álbum del Año de Pop Latino. El primero le fue negado en favor de Shakira, que lanzó ‘El Dorado’; el segundo le fue arrebatado por la boy-band CNCO y su disco ‘CNCO.
Lo que sí se llevó Rosalía fueron aplausos y amistades. Los primeros le llegaron por su actuación junto a J Balvin, cantando ‘Con altura’ en un medley del colombiano. En la gala ofrecida en directo por Telemundo también se pudo ver la actuación de Ozuna, con la nueva versión de ‘Baila Baila Baila’ que runió al gran ganador de la noche Daddy Yankee, J Balvin y Anuel Aa sobre el escenario. Este último también actuó junto a su pareja, KArol G, interpretando en directo el hit ‘El secreto’. Bad Bunny interpretó ‘Tenemos que hablar’, terminando su actuación volando sobre una moto de agua. El momento más emotivo de la noche llegó cuando Juan Luis Guerra recibió el premio honorífico a toda su carrera –pese a que ‘Kitipun‘ demuestra que está en plena forma–, recibiendo un homenaje musical de Fonseca, Pedro Capó y Kany García. Precisamente, otra de las cosas que se llevará Rosalía de estos premios es haber conocido a Guerra, con el que se fotografió en el backstage, según Billboard.
